Ti02 Applications

Titanium Dioxide, or TiO2, is the one of the newest approaches and an innovated breakthrough in cleaning and indoor air technology.  Photo catalysis of Ti02 results in a thin coating of the material exhibiting self cleaning and disinfecting properties and has proven to detoxify and sterilize air and liquids. With the addition of UV light, Ti02 can decompose tobacco, tar, crude oil and organisms including bacteria, viruses and molds.

TiO2 is not new.  It is a mineral that is mined and can be found in many of the products you already own – including food, make-up, suntan lotion, diaper crème, and even flour.  It has been used around the world for years and is approved by the FDA.  It is considered completely “Green”.  The product is not new – but the application process to be able to apply it to surfaces is cutting edge – and we have it.  Used on both interior and exterior surfaces, the applications are infinite.  Currently, our supplier is working with a major cruise line, a leading fast-food restaurant chain, a famous theme park, and a large oil company on applications for infection control purposes, property preservation and maintenance, and environmental clean-up.  TiO2 is an amazing product.

Applying TiO2 to the exterior of buildings and homes will significantly reduce the amount of maintenance needed to keep the surface clean.  Applying TiO2 to your interior walls, ceiling, carpet, fabrics, and  counters will keep those areas protected from fading and will also improve your indoor air quality by killing viruses, bacteria, mold spores, odors etc..  TiO2 is a” Green” product that is 99% water and 1% TiO2.  TiO2 needs light (very little) to react creating hydroxyl radicals (extremely powerful killing agents that are 3 times more powerful than chlorine and 1 1/2 times stronger than ozone yet perfectly safe).  There is no odor or off gassing and it will kill viruses, bacteria, molds, VOC’s, odors at their molecular level.

Who benefits from TiO2?  Quite simply - everyone.
